Some sixteen Bentleys gathered at the Devonport Royal Dockyard, where members enjoyed the Hospitality of the Royal Naval Heritage Centre and a tour of the nuclear-powered submarine HMS Courageous.

The Royal Dockyard at Devonport dates from 1691 and is part of the Royal Naval Base, Devonport, currently the largest naval base in Western Europe and the repair and refuelling centre for Britain's nuclear-powered submarine fleet.

HMS Courageous was commissioned in 1970 and decommissioned in 1992. Her reactor has been removed and she has been accorded limited refurbishment to allow her to be used for public viewing. Alas, no photographs - not allowed!
