This year's Summer Barbecue was kindly hosted by David Starks and Gina Ford at Preston Farm, a few miles from Crediton. A pleasant beeze took the hard edge off a blazingly hot day, and additional shade was provided by David's marquees and umbrella.
An excellent day was enjoyed by all, with a wide choice of barbecued meats and salads, topped off with a selection of puddings.
