Cool overcast was perhaps a welcome change from last year's blistering heat for the 2019 Robey Trust's Steam Fair at Tavistock, though the occasional intrusion of thin rain was less pleasing. Our numbers were a little depleted by illness, and your webmaster's Bentley was perforce impersonated by his Daimler, due to a dalliance with coachbuilders for excision of tin worm and rectification of other minor depredations of the Second Law of Thermodynamics.
