The first resurgence of the Robey Trust's popular Steam Fair, suspended since 2019 by imposition of COVID restrictions during 2020 and 2021, generated a good turnout by an eager public, despite a diminished presence of exhibitors, perhaps because it coincided with the final Sunday of HM The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, which may quite reasonably have taken precedence.

Weather was mostly overcast, but mercifully witheld actual rain. BDC member attendance of six Bentleys turned out to be the largest one-make group - quite an achievement, we thought.

Lunch at the Bedford Hotel

Our lunch coincided with one of the Bedford Hotel's Sunday Jazz lunches, so we were entertained as well as being fed.
